Asian Inspired Turkey
This flavor rich recipe works with any ground meat or tofu

- 3 lbs ground turkey
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos can sub GF Soy Sauce
- 3 TBSP honey can sub xylitol to decrease sugar
- 3 tsp fresh ginger finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes adjust or omit for spice preference
In a large heavy bottomed pan, brown the turkey. Drain liquid if desired. I usually scoop out part of the liquid with ladle.
Add garlic and ginger to turkey and sauté on medium heat until fragrant.
Decrease heat to low. Add honey, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil and cook while stirring until flavors blend.
Serve over rice or shredded cabbage. Top with pickled onions, peanut sauce, and cilantro.
